Spring Tryout/Workout

Parents,

5-8th grade tryouts from 5:30-7pm at THPRD (Walker/158th in Beaverton) March 15, 17.
15U-16U workouts from 5:30-7pm also at THPRD March 15, 17.

After these workouts players that the coaches feel will be a good fit for Run It Back will be asked to return for another tryout.

To participate in the Tryout/Workout, there is a one time fee of $20.

More Hoops This Weekend

We're looking forward to this weekend's tournament for both the 7th and 5th Graders. Come check us out.

Oregon Prep: 8th Graders @ Liberty

This past weekend the 8th Graders went 2-2, beating a couple of strong squads but letting a couple of games get away from them. Overall, it's great to see the individual growth of each player develop while the team chemistry got better each week.

Spring Workouts

The sun is out so it must be spring again. We welcomed back some familiar faces and got the chance to meet some new young men ready to play.

8th Grade Champions

Congratulations to the 8th grade Run It Back team, Champions of the Great 48 Recession Jam held at the Beaverton Hoop.

RIB came up with a couple of steals and knocked down several freethrows to secure a three point win over a very good Clutch Players team.

Great Job Jovanni, Peter, Orin, Jack, Kevin, Chad, Mitchell and Clayton!

6th & 7th Grade Tournament

The threat of snow & ice closed Beaverton Schools for the weekend, but the games played on in Vancouver, Washington.

5th Grade Champions

Congratulations to our 5th grade RIB team! They won this past weekends Oregon Prep Tournament in Beaverton/Hillsboro.

The 5th graders have shown huge improvements weekly and displayed those improvements over the weekend winning four games to claim the championship. Their unselfishness and execution on the offensive end and aggressive play with great rebounding on the defensive end proved too much for their opponents.

Again, congratulations to our 5th grade squad for bringing home their first trophy of the winter season!

7th Grade Boys in Oregon Prep Tournament

The 7th Grade Team played hard this past week-end in the Beaverton/Hillsboro Oregon Prep Tournament. The boys held their own and in the process found some keys points to work on for 2010. Thanks to all our parents for their continued support and have a safe and enjoyable Holiday. Get ready to play ball in the New Year!

West Coast Regional Tournament

RIB 8th graders prepare for a tough task this weekend when they battle top teams in the region at the West Coast Regional Holiday Tournament. The tournament will be played at the Beaverton Hoop and surrounding Portland schools.

RIB Sports will first face ICP Black at the Beaverton Hoop starting at 10:20am.

Come and help support our kids as they do battle with some of the best youth programs in the area.

Volunteer Opportunity: Holiday Food Basket Program

RIB Familes,
I am managing a volunteer event on Tuesday December 15th from 6-8pm at the Hillsboro Elks and would like to extend an invitation to you and your RIB players to help sort and box food for holiday gift baskets that will go to local needy families. Jovanni and I did it last year and it was an awesome experience for both of us! All the food donations from the local school’s food drives go the Elks for this program and it is a wonderful opportunity for the kids to see the whole process come full circle. If you are interested in joining us on Tuesday December 15 from 6-8pm, please let me know:
